-LETTERSTRANGERTREBUCHETSPACESUBWAYCOMMUNICATEOMISSIONPAIR-

here we go, these are all the words i've missed. i won't miss one again sago (exams are pretty much OVER!)

---LETTERS---

Have you ever looked at a word so much that it starts to deform in front of you? Like the letters in it don't seem to make sense anymore, like they were just letters to begin with and not words? Call me weird, but I know if i type/read/write a word too much it just becomes a bunch of letters and i get confused at what i'm actually writting.

---STRANGER---

Strangers represent a whole new world; there are no strangers in this world, just friends you haven't made. I love meeting strangers, and learning more about them. I intend to go back and listen to folk stories of my home town, probably from my maid.

---TREBUCHET---

The weapons of destruction of choice, the counterweights dragging loads across hundreds of meters. I always wanted to build a miniature trebuchet. Maybe I'll go into bunnings and get some material one day. LOL.

---SPACE---

Its funny how we're looking to space to increase the amount of land we can colonise; why don't we just take care of the Earth?

---SUBWAY---

I had subway twice this week. (:

---COMMUNICATE---

"All the words you never say, all the things we'll never do, and all the times we'll never have". For lack of communication. Communication is the most underrated and important facet of life; without it, civilization would be in ruins.

---OMISSION---

i noe what it feels like to be omitted from JEFF'S FAREWELL DINNER

---PAIR---

there are no perfect pairs.

if i haven't used or seen a word for a long time, when i see it again, it will look strange or unfamiliar to me. like the word 'eight' (i had a startling little moment when i became fascinated that there aren't many words (in my vocabulary) that begin with 'ei'), 'more' (overused it in a particular entry), 'four', 'cup', 'picnic'.

i think it's our brains telling us that we need to rest. urgently.

(the redeeming thing about the internet? it lets people realise how not alone they are in their neuroses and eccentricities. or just plain freakiness.)

sometimes, not such a good thing too :D
